This desirable sculpture is part of a collection, I am offering other Carl Aubock figurines in my other sales, please see the first picture.!!PLEASE CLICK HERE TO SEE ALL MY AUBOCK ITEMS I am offering this art deco brass cast sculpture, displaying a left-handed boxer.Designed and executed in Vienna by Carl Aubock (1900- 1957), dated around 1928-1930. A very exceptional and beautiful object, very big, it has a height of 11\". This is a early work of Carl Aubock and it is extremely rare. Only a very few sculptures have been made (less than 10 pieces). Sculptures like these were made exclusively for oversea customers, especially for the U.S. market, as their price might have been hard to explain to the not so affluent customers in Austria. In excellent condition with nice patina, no damages. This is a very adorable Austrian Art Deco sculpture by Carl Aubock, with a wonderfully flowing shape, very nice details and chiselled lines. It is very big and as I wrote, it is very rare. Please see the pictures.
