1920s Vtg Seth Thomas Early Electric Mantle Clock Envoy Dark Wood Tone Quiet:
$50.00
You\'re offerding on a nice, vintage electric mantle clock - face-marked as Seth Thomas manufacture with a bottom label indicating it may be a model called \"Envoy\". Dark-tone wood case with a classic, simple but elegant tombstone shape. Face is silver-metallic color with black demarcations and hands, with the exception of the gold second hand. The glass crystal is bordered by a brass ring.
Note that the case does have a few scratches and scuff, but maintains nice appeal - the face is sparkling clean - clock works perfectly with smooth movement, keeps perfect time and is unbelievably quiet for a clock of this age - probably 1920s vintage. Markings inside the case suggest it was serviced in 1996, and it has been rewired - but with gold wrapped cloth lamp cord, maintaining a classic look.
A very nice example - Clock stands 8\" tall, with a width of 6 1/2\" and front-to-back depth of 3 3/4\". Please review photos carefully to make your own determination of condition and appeal, and don\'t hesitate to ask any questions prior to offerding - thanks for looking!
