- For the most part this coin is basically white as minted...there is a pinch of light discoloration or toningon the shield and to the right of it.It is hardly noticeable when the coin is held in direct light as shown by the 2nd photo.It could be dipped, but there is no need because it hardly detracts from the attractivelook when the coin is in hand.
- There is essentially no semblance of wear to be noted anywhereother than the date itself, the shield detail is superb (to me, uncharacteristically strong noting the fullmedley of stars)and the eagleshows a typical strike.
