Another of the many companies that have little or no information available ... Beautiful six tube TRF battery set from the 1925 period marked \"Columbia Radio Co. St Louis, Mo\" on the panel. It has a very unusual front panel with the two vernier tuning dials being turned 90 degrees and a filament voltmeter being located between them. Makes for a very attractive panel layout .. the panel itself is wood toned Bakelite with significent \"wood grain\" patterns. It\'s in absolutly beautiful condition ... clean and unmarked. The elaborate wood cabinet is also in great shape .. at a guess it\'s been nicely refinished but it could be original as well. All three audio transformers test good.

Check out the top of the chassis ... aside from the beautiful overall condition ... all three of the RF coils are mounted on short 4 pin tube bases and plug into tube sockets marked \"COIL\" ... same with the power connector for the battery cable. I was told the set was working when I purchased it but have not confirmed that .. with the good audio transformers it\'s likely that it indeed does work. You will need a power supply [ARBE or AES both make good supplies for battery sets] ... six O1A UX based tubes ... a high impedance headset or speaker and a decent long wire antenna & ground. Not a bit like plugging in an AC set .. requires time and patience to hook up and to tune.
