1927 Antique employee watch fob A and Z watch chain old engraving of iron worker:
$33.99

On offer is a very finely engraved fob with watch chain. It appears to be a silver or silver mix but it is not marked as to metal content. The chain has an Art Deco link pattern in a border of diamond shapes. The chain has A&Z on it. This stands for A&Z Chain Co.. The picture is an engraving of what looks like an antique style depiction of a metal worker. It has a reverse side that shows it was an award for 5 years of service at the \"Ternsted Mfg. Co.,Div.Detroit\". This was a company that patented the first smooth window opening regulator. The employee on the fob was C.Stacey and the date on it is 12-27-27. Ternsted became a part of GM after this point. Ternstedt was founded by Alvar K. Ternstedt, the Swedish inventor of the first practical car window regulator. It is 7.25\" from loop end to fob bottom. Besides expected tarnish, and wear and tear on loop holding fob, it looks well kept and the engraving is much like the quality of a silver coin. Unusual and attractive antique styling.
