This is an original vintage up close portrait of one of Americas greatestheroes, Charles A. Lindbergh. Lindbergh was just inducted into the Order of the Sciots shortly after his Historic Flight.
There is an UNDERWOOD & UNDERWOOD stamp and paper cation on the reverse. The reverse also has a date stamp of OCT 5 1927.
This 6x8 Original News photograph would be classified as a Type I, 1st generation photograph.This is an Original Vintage photo from a working news archive so, as expected, there is some wear and tear (wrinkles, pinholes, editor marks) to all photos. (See scan for details).
