Octavo, gray paper covered boards backed with green buckram & titled in gilt on the front board with a printed paper label on the spine in a dust wrapper. The tail of the spine is slightly faded. The dust jacket is lightly chipped with light soiling to the rear panel. There is a short tear to the top edge of the front fold & a piece out of the jacket spine. [vii], 116 & [1] pages. Illustrated with pictorial endpaper maps & with 18 black-and-white plates with tissue guards, including a frontispiece. Near fine in a very good dust wrapper.
First edition.
