This is an oldwooden statueornament of Zhong Kui.
There is a signature on the back.(SHOTEI)
It is written, "July, 1928" on the back side of the box lid.
It is carving of very polite work.
The expression and the sculpture are very delicate. It is work with the technology of a high level.
