Very Nice Very Rare Pen , Large Pen, Ring Top, Full size, Large thick 14K Lifetime fine point nib, Big White dot :-) Circa 1929 in my book an 1929, only 2nd year for the Balance I think, still caring characteristics from the Flat tops, pinned solid metal lever , There is wear, But a Nice & RARE early working Pen!

The biggest problem is a crack in the phone dialer as shown in several photos, I am sure it could be filled or glued.Crack seems stable. The \"phone dialer\" end threads right off, just like a desk pen taper would. This end part looks to be made of a hard rubber that is showing age. The Rest of the pen has aged much better. The pen has a VERY good shine, Clear imprint

Phone Dialer..., Like a modern day Stylus Combo pen, Put the back end of the pen to use (old Rotary phones of course :-)

the gold filled band/trim ring is very bright and tight, the ring top shows brassing, The pen cap has a perfect cap lip, no cracks (other than mentioned above), no warp, lever & filling mechanism work perfectly. cap threads on very well & posts perfectly.

The pen works Very well , Big White Dot! it was restored to working by the previous collector. Very nice writer , BEAUTIFUL LARGE Thick, 14k Lifetime Gold nib. fine point, excellent iridium.

This is NOT a flexy nib. (a \'nail\' as they say) Thick & large nib, See writing sample.

The pen is a full 6\" capped and 6 & 1/8\" posted , These measurements DO NOT include the loop.
