Here is your opportunity to own an Original Buddy L Wrecking Toy Truck from 1930. This is the REAL deal, not a reproduction. This truck is not your average Buddy L Wrecker, this is the very RARE Deluxe model. This model is extremely hard to find in any condition. The deluxetruck comes with headlights, plated front bumper, stamped steel wheels with rubber tires andradiator cap. This truck has with stood the test of time! 84 years. The condition of this original truck is showing wear. There is a hole drilled through the passenger side floorboard, near where the Buddy L decal sits. There are holes drilled through the original headlights. The headlights both have been sodered near the top. The plated front bumper shows some rust and may be slightlybent. The black paint on the cab has a nice luster to it. The cab has chipped paint on both front fenders. Also some white household paint splatters are on the entire truck in various places. The red paint on theback part of the truck is showing it\'s age. Paint looks dry and scaly. The paint is not flaking off. The Buddy L Wrecking decals are the same as the red paint, dry and scaly. The underside of the truck is solid, but the original painthas faded and is dry and scaly. The frame rails are solidbut have some lightsurface rust. This truck is very solid. There is NO rotted metal anywhere on this truck. The back boom assembly rotates nicely, when you turn the big black wheel. The gears for the crank assembly are not in good shape. The gears are stripped, and one big gear is broken in half. The ropes and hooks are both missing. The back step is slightly bent. There is a sodered spot on the underside of the back step. The brass side rails are in good shape, and are firmly attached to the truck and step. The pullies for the ropes are in good shape and spin freely. The rubber tires are in decent shape. The driver side rear wheel is looser than the other 3 wheels? It wobbles a lot when you roll the truck. The passenger side rear red wheel shows more wear than the other 3 wheels.The truck\'s steering wheel in the cab works good and steers nicely. Thetruck measures approximately 29\' long, 8 1/2 wide, 13\' high.This is an original truck and has not been restored in anyway. This truck looks good on a shelf! It displays nicely! It may also be a great truck for a restoration project. That is up to you. I posted 12 pictures for details of the above stated problems with the truck.
