What a great item. This is by the Jennings Brothers Foundry, famous for the quality of their castings and their wonderful bronze finishes. Made of spelter or pot metal and measuring 7 inches high by 6 inches long and in great condition. It is so rare to find this still with the whip in the cowboy\'s hand intact. No damage. It is marked THE PONY EXPRESS on the front of the base and a copyright symbol and the initials H.A.M.N on the side of the base. H.A.M.N was the sculptor artist for this piece. Circa 1930 to 1948 and a lovely piece of wild west Americana from the great days of cowboy and the settling of the Wild West. Guaranteed old, genuine and original. Thanks for looking.
