In the yearssince the fall of the Soviet Union, much of the Soviet military\'s materialculture has vanished. Rescuing those artifacts from the annals of USSR history,I showcases badges awarded to officers of the Soviet Army, Navy, Air Force, andFrontier Guards Former communist state.

In steel with bronze and nickel plating, enamels. The medallion is 32.1 mm tall, 29.5 wide (not including the projections for chain attachment).

In outstanding, excellent condition. The enamel is essentially perfect showing only the usual manufacturing imperfections, no flaking or noticeable wear. The details are extremely well preserved; the silver finish is completely intact on all parts of the badge - a very uncommon case. The suspension chain is original and complete. Comes with a period screw plate with stamped serial number and maker mark \"MOAKh\", probably original to the badge. The screw post is over 11.5 mm long, has not been reduced.
