Charming 1930\'s Welsh Girl Cloth Doll by Chad Valley Hygienic Textile Toys up for sale. Doll measures 12\" tall has a hardmolded cloth hand painted face, a sewn on mohair wig and originaloutfit with a red cape, ivory shirt,red scarf, black& white checkeredapron, brown skirt, ivory bloomers, socks and black felt shoes. Original Chad Valley wrist tag is still attached. Cape is removable to reveal a full wig, the main outfit is sewn on the doll. The red cape has a sewn on Made In England tag, and thebrown skirt has a Kimport Dolls tag (importer out of Independence MO.) stating this doll is Welsh. Body is flesh colored hard packed cloth jointed at neck, arms and hips for posing. Doll is in excellent condition for its age, with a light scuff onchin and a little fuzz or dust from long term storage. Very likely never played with, ready to doll comes from my Grandmother\'s collection, and is ready for someone new to enjoy her. Please see my other sale listings, for more dolls in the coming weeks.
