They both have sleep eyes & rosebud mouths with coordinating blue & white outfits. They are made of complete composition with Effanbee on back on neck. They have a patented neck joint that allows them to pose & stand alone.

I believe these are 1931 Effanbee PatsyBabyettetwin dolls. If you look up Effanbee pictures under Bing it should show you several different pictures & years of each one if you do not have a collectors guide to see what they look like.I have noted condition above for each. These Patsy Babyette twin dolls are a piece of history & look great considering age. Please review condition notes listed above as well as review pictures & ask any questions you may have. Considering age these are in excellent shape but does show light crazing in some areas as noted & you should be able to see signs in pictures in particular the head. The girl\'s outfit does show some wear to the ribbon that should be original outfit. The boy has a matching blue& white outfit that shows light wear to the sleeve; however, both outfits look good & clean considering age. They do not have shoes & socks if they originally came with them & also boy does not have a hat if he originally came with one.

History of Effanbee ~ Patsy was designed by Bernard Lipfert& advertised 1928 she was originally going to be called Mimi & was changed to Patsy. She was one of the 1st dolls to have a manufactured wardrobe just for her. Patsy was made of all composition with patented neck joint that allowed doll to pose & stand alone. She became so popular she had several sisters & boyfriend Skippy.
