Offered here is a stunning example of machine age modernist

streamline design c. late 1930’s or early 40’s. Note how the lamp’s broad copper shade compliments the curved and scalloped chrome elements of the base. Classic “speed rings” hover above the base and adorn the neck.


This lamp has been fully restored and refurbished. The exterior base components have beenprofessionally plated in contrasting chrome and copper finishes. Original bakelite socket interior and switch have been replaced with new like kind. The wiring and power cord has been replaced with period reproduction rayon covered cord and and appointed with a restored vintage bakelite plug including new insulator.


Note: The shade has a few very slight imperfections, as might be expected from handling over time. I have attempted to show them with a top view photo, however they are not easily seen.
