offered is an extremely rare circa 1935 modernist art deco ronson rondelight figural ball table lighter \"newsboy\" table set. the chrome plated lighter features a wonderful hagenauer style deco newsboy design wearing cap and holding newspaper. the english made rondelight has a hardwood base as compared to usa made rondelight sets which have metal bases.the baby rondelight ball lighter is marked ronson art metal works with patent information. the ronson \"newsboy\" measures about 4 \" tall x 6\" across and is in good used condition. the quality wood base has minor age dirt spots which should clean and would look much better with wood polish. the ball mechanism throws a spark and should operate with proper service of fuel. there are lite typical minor dents and loss of black lacquer on the ball. this english model rondelight is rarely seen and not in the ronson book. this would make a wonderful addition to any rondelight or art deco table lighter collection. overall - a very special 1930\'s art deco ronson figural \"newsboy\" table lighter for your collection. lighter sold as a \"non-working collectible - no returns\". insurance included in usa first class shipping. overseas is usps registered airmail except the SHIP COST to italy-HK-southeast europe-russia-philipines-greece-turkey - mexico -mideast-central and south america - via usps express mail only-$85. please make sure to read my vintage lighter articles on the internet and in blaze lighter magazine. i combine shipping. **please view all the vintage lighters-ronsons- dunhills-and 20th century deco i offer on . please email questions-thanks.
