The charge is quite large measuring 18 inches or 46 cm in diameter and is 2 inches deep.
The charger features at the center a large and detailed Bacchanalian scene. It shows a woman laying down at the front and center of the charger looking over her shoulder at the many people around her enjoying grapes and starting the wine making. Around the outside edge of the charger is a heavy applied gold border. The border has a raised design with arches and flowers and organic designs in the arches.
It is in very good condition, with only minor wear and darkening to the gold.
