1930s J. Cliff Hutchins Indian Prints: Coming of the White Men & Magic Waters:

These 2 vintage, & considered by some to be rare, large framedcolorful glass-covered J. Cliff Hutchinsprints date atleast from the 1930s. The one with the covered wagons is titled\"Coming of the White Men\" & the one with the Indian or NativeAmerican drinking from a bowl by a river is titled\"Magic Waters.\" These titles are written in pencil onthe original brown paper on their backs (see myPhotographs 3, 4, & 5). The number 1700 also iswritten on the back paper of the covered wagonswork, which has been listed elsewhere as \"Comingof the White People.\"In the more than 75 years that these works have been in my family, the brown papers on their backs have deteriorated & in thecase of the wagons workcompletely separated from the frame.However, the colorful artworks & gold-colored (painted?)solid wooden frames themselves remain in good to verygood condition.

The colors of the actual works of artlook better than my computerized photographs. Each framedwork measures about 32-1/2 inches wide by 20-1/2 incheshigh. Together, & I do want to sell them together, the2 weigh about 18 pounds without a box or packing materials. Shipping payment should allow for addedinsurance & signature required fees.The wagons work has the J. Cliff Hutchins name in thelower right & \"(c) M&B Inc., N.Y.\" in the lower left(see my Photographs 7 & 9. The waters work has thename in the lower left & the copyright in the lowerright (see my Photographs 8 & 10).

Due to reflections, photographing these glass-coveredworks was difficult. Hence, please overlook thereflected \"flying saucer\" near the mountain topin my Photograph 1 with both of the prints. As thisreflection isn\'t shown in my Photograph 2, it isn\'treally there. Likewise, ignore the wide whitishdiagonal line reflection across the lower rightof the wagons work in my Photographs 1, 2, & 7& to a lesser degree in my Photograph 3.Since my Photographs are an important part ofmy listings\' descriptions & details, please carefully check out all of them, because youmay find something important to you that I didn\'t mention.
