1930s Ringling Bros Barnum and Bailey & Lever Advertising Circus Poster Sign. This Poster Arlene told me was the 2nd rarest she owned. Poster has significant wear to the edges has been foldedalso hasminorstaining of the paper.I have done my best to show these flaws please ask for additional pictures if needed. Arlene put many of these posters likethis one in a frame to preserve it for now, they were not stored very well at times during their life she said.

I have been lucky enough to acquire several circusposter\'s from a private collection of Arlene Albrechtfrom BlakeleyMn. home of Albrecht Bros Circus. Arlene\'s father was born in 1895 and by the age of 10 being a son of a strongman he joined into the circus life.Arlene was part of the circus since she was 3 yrs old. In picture9 she can be seen onan elephant, standing with leg up on the chair & balancestretched between 2 chairs.He fatherhad an extensive collectionof circus memorabilia MOST of which wasAlbrecht Bros but also various othersincluding the posters I acquired. Albrecht Bros was founded in 1918 and went into to early 60s doing their stops in the upper Midwest and some across the country. Her fathers circus collection was passed down to her and I was lucky enough to acquire it directly from her she told me many stories about circus living I have included4 pictures from her home to show some of the things they did. She told me these items I acquired were all collected from 1910s to into the 1960s. She had many early posters and was only willing to let a few go for now.
