1930s THE ART OF WEAVING School Project JOAN E BUTLER Vintage Samples LINEN Yarn:
$46.55

I rescued this vintage SCHOOL PROJECTentitiled, The Art of Weaving, from anestate sale. It contains research and information on the topic of weaving, and it includes illustrations along with linen and yarn samples. The student received a \"B\" for her work.
I believe this project was complete in the 1930s near Cincinnati, Ohio, as evidenced by the piano recital pamphlets from 1937-1939 that were tucked away inside. An inscribed photograph of the piano teacher, Miss Eleanor Wenning, is included.Facts and Features:
  • Completed by Joan E. Butler for Fine Arts 573
  • Used a Montag\'s Ironclad Series composition filler (notebook)
  • Dimensions = 8 1/2\" x 10 3/4\"
  • No. of pages = 13 (front side only)
Notebook remains intact. Lots of wear, as should be expected from a school project from the 1930s.
