WHITING &DAVIS Book Piece HAND BAG Enameled Metal Mesh 1930s PURSE Signed Vintage!

This is a vintagesigned Whiting & Davis enameled metal mesh bag ingreat condition.

The beautiful bag is featured in Richard Holiners Book on page 115 (see attached picture).

Floral design is in colors of rust and dark green on yellow and pale green background. All tiles are present and mostly without damage as seen in many pictures I’m posting. There is patina to the silver plated finish on the frame and gentle wear commensurate with age clearly seen in detailed pictures. The frame is straight and it closes perfectly. Metal hang tag is inside.

Bag measures7” by 5” wide, the chain hangs over 7”. Beautiful flapper era belonged to a prestigious, extensive collection.

Fabulous antique bag not to be made again and a piece of history for the serious collector!
