Here isa VINTAGEand EARLY JD Anthony Wood Carved Pair of Pheasants. A Rooster and a Hen. The Rooster is Approx. 4 1/8\" Long and the Hen is Approx. 3 7/8\" Long. Mr. Anthony was from Grand Rapids, Minnesota.There is NO LABEL on this one. All of the Birds I am listing today, all came together. Soit is MY BELIEF, they were all carved by Anthony. Some have labels on the bottom and some do not. Most DO NOT. I know nothing about this guy. I called a couple guys I know in Grand Rapids and neither new anything aboutthis JD ANTHONY Dude. Oneof the guysis 80 and the other is 90 and they have been in the collecting world and Sporting Collectable World for over 40 yearseach.And I called other people as well, with, the same DEAD ENDRESULTS. Some of these are really nice.I kept a few for myself. Like I said, these are really nice. AND,They are old!!!! I will be listing several of these tonightand, will gladly combine shipping.
