Rare and wonderful, 1931, 1st Edition Raggedy Ann Series Children\'s Book titled \"Raggedy Ann in Cookie Land\" in its original Dust Jacket. Written and Illustrated by Johnny Gruelle. New York, 1931. Published by The Johnny Gruelle Company. 1st Edition / 1st printing.
This fantastic volume measures approx. 6\" x 9 1/4\" and contains 95 interior pages plus a 1 page advertisement for Raggedy Ann Series Books. The volume includes numerous full and part page color illustrations and beautiful color illustrated endpapers. The Book retains its beautiful and well preserved, original Dust Jacket.
This rare and wonderful volume is bound in its original, pictorial paper covered board covers which are in excellent condition - tight and sound - clean and crisp with just a bit of bumping at the extremities. The interior pages are in near mint condition - complete, tight, clean and crisp throughout. Even the endpapers are crisp and beautiful. The original paper dust jacket is well preserved - clean and crisp and very attractive with a bit of light edge wear and a couple of short edge tears.
