<<<<<<1933: FRANKLIN DELANO ROOSEVELT: 76mm bronze medal:FIRST TERM INAUGURAL is a large and heavy, 76mm bronze medal struck by the US Mint in 1933-34 for the First Inauguration of Franklin Delano Roosevelt. This is a scarcely encounteredmedal which was only struck for a few years before his 2nd inauguration, as most FDR medals are from after his death.

On the obverse of the medal isthe right-facing bust of Franklin D. Roosevelt with the words \"FRANKLIN DELANO ROOSEVELT PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES\" along the rim. On the reverse of the medal is an outstretched eagle perched upon a fasces and a shield, above the words \"INAUGURATED MARCH 4, 1933\".

The edgeis plain andthe medal isinalmost uncirculatedcondition with some age toning.
