1933 General Motors 25th Anniversary MEDALLION by Norman Bel Geddes ART DECO

From a local estate sale- 3\" silver over bronze medallion designed by Norman Bel Geddes to commemorate the 25th anniversary of General Motors corporation (1908-1933). I do not have the original box.

Side 1 featuring the laurel leaf and piston reads \"Commemorating the twenty fifth Anniversary of General Motors\".

Side 2 featuring the Art Deco winged design says \"To the advancement of motor transportation\".

Medal or medallion weighs 6.4 ounces and is in very good condition-no damage or nicks along the edges; you can see the bronze/copper coloration under the wording. Almost a mirror finish on this piece.
