I have here for sale a rare Catalan book entitled EL LLIBRE DE FADES D\'ARTHUR RACKHAM, Contes Vells Amb Noves Illustracions. FIRST EDITION, published in Barcelona by Editorial Joventut in 1934. The book features 23 fables including Dick Whittington; Sinbad the Sailor (Historia de Sindbad el Mariner); The Princess and the Pea (La Princesa i El Pesol); Ali Baba; Rip Van Winkle and El Gat amb Botes (Puss in Boots). 7 beautiful full colour plates and 43 b/w illustrations in text all by Rackham.
Red linen hardboards with black illustration and lettering to front board and spine. 263pp, 25.5 x 20 cm. An opportunity to acquire a rare Rackham.
