You are offerding on an original French Line Compagnie Generale Transatlantique 1935 calendar and rates. The brochure is written in French. It includes the schedule for The Normandie, Ile De France, Paris, Champlain, and Lafayette. It measures 3 1/4 X 5 3/4 when closed but folds out to 5 3/4 X 13 inches. This original great classic brochure describes the shipping schedules for these great classic ships. The brochure is in good condition with minor edge and creasewear. This is brochure was recently acquired from an estatesale. This sale included a largecollection of Ocean Liner memorabilia collected over many years by Richard K.Morse. Mr. Morse has been described byauthor William Miller as one of the “world’s master liner enthusiasts andcollectors”. Mr. Morse was an avidcollector of Ocean Liner memorabilia which he developed into one of the mostextensive collections on ship photos, postcards, Ocean Liner travel informationand memorabilia. Many authors consultedwith Mr. Morse about these great ships and often used his knowledge andmemorabilia to create their publications.I’m happy to be able to offer this original item from his extensivecollection.
