This is an original press photo. Since 1883 the Wayside Day Nursery in New York City has been caring for underprivileged children whose parents are forced to leave them while at work. During the past year the nursery has provided meals, medical & dental care and recreational outlets for more than 30 children each day. This slide and other apparatus on the roof provides plenty of outdoor sport for the children.Photo measures 9.25 x 7.25inches. Photo is dated 4-6-1937.
