DESCRIPTION

We are proud to offer this wonderful vintage Hamilton Watch Co pocket watch. It is17 jewels and has a 5912 movement. The serial number dates the watch at 1938. The yellow gold colored case has wonderful engraved detail around the edge and on the bale. The back inside of the case has the words Hamilton Watch Co and Lancaster, PA with additional beautifulengraved detail (hard to photograph.) The back outside of the case has some areas of small engraved numbers which may be from service dates (also hard to photograph.)

The face of the watch has an interesting almost sunburst design to the face. The crystal is yellowed and we don\'t know if this is the original intention or something that happened over time. Photographs were taken with the crystal on and off the watch.

This is simple, elegant, and classic all rolled into one. It is a perfect estate piece to start or add to your collection.

CONDITION

The face has some cracks and a small chip which are completely photographed. The watch is running and the bale is tight

Watch diameter is about 1 5/8 inches across. Top to bottom is about 21/4 inch with the bale.
