I am selling a large collection of World’s Fair and Exposition so please watch my sales every week. This sale is for a very nice celluloid pinback button from the 1939 New York World’s Fair. The button came out of the collection of noted collector and author Howard Rossen and is pictured on page 153 of his book World’s Fair Collectibles (Howard M. Rossen, 1998, publ. by Schiffer). This is one of the scarcer Trylon & Perisphere design buttons from the NYWF. The diameter is 1 ¼” and the condition is Excellent with very light wear.
