1940 VINTAGE SINGER FEATHERWEIGHT 221 SEWING MACHINE & CASE MANUAL SCROLL PLATE 1940 VINTAGE SINGER FEATHERWEIGHT 221 SEWING MACHINE & CASE MANUAL SCROLL PLATE Description

From a local estate a vintage Singer Featherweight 221 portable sewing machine Serial number AF-572672 which dates it to 1940. It comes with its original bobbin bakelite foot petal and plug & case & accessories shown & Two keys for the case.
The gold decals are in great shape with what looks like some adhesive pic 15 didn\'t try to remove it .
It has a new belt & does sew, I don\'t know the last time it was oiled or serviced.
The light bulb was burnt out with the bulb loose in it & the bottom of the bulb is still in the socket & will need a new bulb & the cord is supple with no cracks. The handle has electric tape around it but is attached with nicks & scuffs to the case as shown . Inside the case has a musty smell which I understand there are products to remove that. . When shipping parcel post your item can take up to 7-10 days and those are BUSINESS DAYS I ship within 24 hours of your cleared payment MONDAY-FRIDAY often saturdays if I am home from estate sales prior to the post office closing.I do not ship Sunday or holidays .

I am happy to combine shipping when ever possible unless the items are two large to combine. I use bubble wrap, foam , tissue, syrofoam peanuts to have your sale arrive safe and sound. I pack the way I would want and item shipped

Terms of Sale

All of the items I list are ESTATE/ garage sale antique vintage items and have been preowned even if they were never used.

They are not new and show varying signs of age ,wear yellowing from storage in linens and clothing.

They vary from 30 to 100 years old even though I would not know if items purchased are from pet free smoke free homes you can figure they would have some type of odor.

Unless I state that I have personally drycleaned or laundered them it would be the responsibilty of the buyer to dryclean or launder them. I describe items to the best of my knowledge and put numerous photos for you to look at please use them as part of the description
