Here is a pretty rare item, a Thorens amplified music box, which I believe would have originally been used for ice cream trucks in the 40\'s ? 50\'s? The lid of the box has an old decal which reads \"Mobil Music\". The player sits on what aprears to be an original metal base with shock asorbing ? \'feet\' that are sitting on a wooden base. Overall in pretty nice shape but does show it\'s age. There aprears to be an indicator light of sorts missing on the right hand side face of the unit as you can see in the pictures. As for working condition yes it plays ! With 12 volts hooked up to the input jack on it, all of the tubes light up and the motor runs and it plays it\'s song. (I can\'t quite identify the tune though) I did try hooking a speaker up to the output jack on it but didn\'t hear anything out of there though. But aside from that it plays along well. (both tubes apear newer and test out great)
