Lovely color of a dark grey in these true vintage 1940\'s seamed nylon stockings featuring Cuban heels and keyhole welts. They will require garters to be worn.
These are 15 denier, also know as \"ultra sheer oreveningsheer\". The denierindicates the thickness of one strand of nylon in hosiery manufacturing. For comparison purposes a strand of hair from the average human head is roughly 50 denier. The gauge is 51. This is the number of threads in a 1-1/2\" knitted row. The higher the gauge the silkier the feel to the stocking (and on your legs). These stockings have a keyhole welt and Cuban heels.

These are in their original green box with the 3 pair of stockings in their individual cellophane wrappers with a rose design. The box does show a little wear--these are approximately 70 years old. They arefrom my Grandparent\'s store, which closed in the mid-1940\'s. These have been stored since that time, always in smoke free Environments.
If you love vintage, or seamed stockings, these could be a great addition to your wardrobe! I measure several pair from different boxes to come up with the sizes. They are always carefully handled while wearing gloves.
CARE: as with any stockings treat as a delicate fabric. Wash after each wearing in lukewarm water with a mild soap, rinse thoroughly and air dry at room temperature.
