This pretty large brim hat has a shallow crown and a narrow brim of black straw, the brim is made larger by a wide band of fancy horsehair, which is trimmed with off white velvet with fringed edges. It has a wide silk satin band around the crown and making a large, folded bow on the side in back. There\'s a covered wire around the outside of the brim, which is loose in a few places, it just needs to be whip stitched a few inches here and there. The elastic cord is a little stretch and had been looped, you might want to replace it, but it still has a little snap. It measures 20 inches across.
