1940s Beautiful Cambridge Rose Point Ped Decor Dish w/Wallace Sterling Silv Base:

This decorative dish is absolutely gorgeous. Glass and silver pieces such as this were quite popular early in the 19th century through the mid century. This particular piece appears to have been made in the early to mid 1940s. The beautifully decorated glass was made by Cambrige of USA, and is done in the Rose Point pattern. Under the small pedestal is a round base with a wonderful sterling silver rim made by Wallace Silver Co, which is numbered #4641. The Sterling silver is expertly crafted with a rope design, as well as beading. The piece is signed on the underside as can be viewed in photos 5 and 6. The dish presents is excellent condition with no flaws or defects whatsoever. This candy/serve/display dish truly looks great, despite its age. It stands 3 and a 1/2 in tall with a 6 and a 1/2 in top opening, and weighs approximately 1/2 to 3/4 of a pound.
