ITEM: This isa fabulous set of 5 pin-up girl form ceramic pottery mugs, un-marked likely Japan knock-offs based on designs by Dorothy Kindell (1909-1961) the noted California pottery artist.
Five original, vintage “Striptease” mugs, C. 1950s.
Dimensions: vary according to the handle, but the mug itself stands 4-1/2 inches tall, a base of 2-1/2 inches. These are pretty swank and are now iconic as such - all are nice girls from good families putting themselves through college by selling the drama it would appear...
Condition: Excellent - No cracks chips hairlines or damage - crazing on 1 mug, not that noticeable and typical of this mug for some reason. :)
