VERY NICE OAK CASED ART DECO GERMAN KIENZLE NAPOLEON HAT SHAPED WESTMINSTER CHIMING MANTLE CLOCK - WORKING WELL
This is a very nice 1940s oak cased Art Deco German Kienzle Napoleon Hat shaped Westminster Chiming Mantle Clock. The clock has an approx. 6.5\" diameter silver coloured face with large chromium plated typically Art Deco squared numerals, the clock hands are chromium plated and plain, the face is in good condition and is marked \"Foreign\" under the 6 numeral. The original domed glass is contained by the original white metal bezel, the hinge pin and the clip are strong. The nicely rounded oak Napoleon Hat shaped clock casestands on four button feet andis in good condition some small marks ,. The clock is decorated on the front - see photos. The clockis approximately 10\" tall, approx. 6\" deep and approx. 19\" long, the rear door has a goodstrong hinge,the clip is broken there are also small paint blemishes . The clock has a high quality brass movement which is marked with the Kienzle winged clock mark, , 174568, 16cm. - see photo. It runs very well and chimes as it should, the chimes can be silenced with the lever by the 3 numeral.
