Selling a pair of world War II U. S. Navy purchased souvenir shoes bought in the Philippines at the end of World war II. Signal Corpsman Rowe thought his lady friend would adore these cute hand carved, hand painted, hand beaded and appliqued shoes, and evidently it was the thought that counted as these appear to be practically unused. THESE ARE SOLD FOR DISPLAY ONLY DUE TO THE AGE OF THE ANTIQUE FABRIC. There is minor wear from 70 years of storage in the closet. The bed of the shoes is approximately 10\" long. The shoes are 2 3/4\" wide across the area for the ball of the foot. THESE WERE MADE FOR TINY FEET!
