Please study the following detailed measurements and compare them on a ruler so that you understand the size of this watch before purchasing.CASE Rose RGP (rolled gold plate) in relatively good condition.The two-part ROSE rolled gold case features distinctive Art Deco hooded ribbed lugs and is in good condition throughout. There are the usual light surface scratches and signs of use and wear. Please study all photos. The back fits perfectly to the top, snapping on securely with no gaps. The outside is signed 14K ROLLED GOLD PLATE BULOVA together with the case serial number starting with ‘1’ (1508479) signifying, on a Bulova of this design and with this particular movement, a manufacture date of 1941. The inside of the case is signed BULOVA FIFTH AVE NEW YORK. The 2-tone copper and silver dial is a beautiful period design and looks to be original. It shows definite signs of age here and will need to be restored and cleaned. Please study all photos. The hr/min/2nd hands are all present.MOVEMENTGood quality 17-jewel Bulova 10AX mechanical hand-wound movement .This watch is powered by an American-made BULOVA 17-jewel 10AX hand-wound mechanical movement. This model movement was only made throughout a two-year period – from 1940 to 1942 – and the asterisk/star stamped on the movement signifies this example was manufactured in 1941, the same year as the case itself. The watch is NOT running and it feels like it has been wound to the maximum possible.
