Very good condition, working 1943 U.S.Navy Mark I Deck Clock.

This was manufactured by the Chelsea Clock Co., Boston.

Serial number 43238-1943.

The clock is in good working and physical condition. I believe the case is Bakelite, and is in very good condition also. The hinge is sound and solid, the screw in latch is operational and in good condition. There are some small scratches on the face around the hole for winding, and some paint flaking on the hands, I would attribute this to age.

I do not have the key, but I was able to wind it with a pair of small needle nose pliers to verify that it does work.

It has a 5 1/2\" face, 6 1/2\" face frame, the back mounting plate is 7 1/2\" in diameter, and it is 2 3/8\" deep.

This is a very nice useable piece, great for the Clock Collector, Military Memorabilia Collector, or anyone who appreciates this piece of American History.
