CANNOT POST UNTIL 6TH NOVEMBER, BUT WILL BE MARKED \'AS DISPATCHED\'.

Again I have the pleasure of offering another superb Omega wristwatch for sale, it is a collectable WW2 (1943) RAF pilot or navigator\'s watch complete with the famous British military markings on the case back.

Omega have a rich history of association with varies militaries. The likes of the British military used them in WW2 as accuracy and reliability in these watches was imperative for the RAF terms to calculate distances and locations etc.

The case measures some 33mm excluding the original winding crown and lugs. Please note the upper lugs have been ever-so slightly shortened as the side photograph shows. This is quite often seen on these watches, as the long, soft cases tended to fracture at this point. It\'s not really noticeable unless you specifically look to check.

The case back is marked \'6B/159\' standing for \'Aircraft Navigation Equipment, Accessories and Unit Servicing Parts Navigation Watch\', meaning it was quite likely issued to a Spitfire pilot or possibly a navigator. Furthermore a reference of \'A6467\' all below the famous military broad arrow mark. The inner of the case back is correctly signed \'Omega\' and carries a reference of 2292.

The movement is the famous caliber 30T2 SC and it runs perfectly keeping good time. It has a serial number of 9819486 dating the watch to 1943. The stunning example is of course fully signed Omega and has 16 jewels. It runs well and keeps good time having last been fully serviced last year.

The original dial is in good condition as the photography shows. The black hours are in Arabic form to match the \'Omega\' signature and logo and original hands including a sweep centre seconds.

The watch comes on new dark brown leather strap, but can easily have a NATO style strap added to enhance its military look.

Please do not miss my array of other vintage watches now for offer here on and thanks for looking.
