War Correspondent, Francis MacCarthy lights a cigarette for correspondent Stanley Gunn who later died of wounds he sustained when a Japanese plane bombed his Leyte Island hut. Five correspondents on Leyte gave blood for Gunn. Photo measures 8 x 6.25 inches. Photo is dated 11-9-1944.
