rare 1947 JOE TINKER (CHICAGO CUBS / d.1948) BASEBALL HOF SIGNED LETTER / GPC - JSA

This item is being sold by Bryan Dec from BDECSPORTS, and we have been in business since 1989 & this is our 15th year on . This Joe Tinker (Chicago Cubs) handwritten & signed letter is from Feb. 12, 1947, and he wrote the letter on a Government Postcard. Tinker had lost his leg the month prior due to his diabetes, and he made reference in the written letter that \"...all I need is a new leg\". The fountain pen signature and written portion grade in remarkable Near Mint to Mint condition, while the card itself has some creasing, there is some minor paper clip rusting on the right side, and there are four tiny spots of surface paper loss in the corners on the back. Tinker was inducted into the HOF in 1946, he died in 1948, and this Tinker signed GPC / letter comes with an sale LOA from James Spence Authentication.
