This is aVintage Large Royal Doulton Falstaff Character Toby Mug 1949 Original that was made in England and is in excellent condition! The character is Sir John Falstaff from William Shakespeare.

It has a wonderful, bright, glossy glaze with no chips, crazing, spidering, or cracks noted. This mug has a different color scheme than later editions, and is marked on the bottom with the Royal Doulton mark, Ra No. 857578, Ra No. 5905, Ra No. 75/49.
