This is an early strung, straight-leg Ginny, 1953-54. She comes in a presentation box (not original to her) with her rocking horse and flowers and is wearing a tagged checked gingham shirt and denim jeans from the \"Talon Zipper Series\". Her perfect blonde braids are tied with red satin bows topped with a straw hat. She looks like she is ready for a picnic. Shoes are marked \"Ginny\".
The paint on her eyelashes has faded, as well as her eyebrows. Her eyes do not close when she is laying down and her hair is thinning on the left side. In spite of these issues, she is looks great overall, a wonderful example of this popular doll.
