This listing is for a 1960s CRAGSTAN TALKING ROBOT made by Yonezawa, Japan. This rare \"skirted\" robot is approximately 12 inches tall and made of tin with a friction motor and battery-powered talk box. The robot is in good condition overall. The paint shows scratches and a bit of crazing, mostly around the face and chest. Still looks and displays great (note that the big white spot in the center of the chest is reflection from the camera light). All four wheels are present and the robot will roll along using the friction motor. It still talks using one \"D\" battery. There is an ON/OFF switch in the rear and a button in the front to change the phrases. Virtually all of these talk boxes are found non-working. This one was repaired and the robot talks loud, saying all 4 phrases. This is the English language version, not Japanese. On consignment.
