ITEM: Youare offerding on a fabulous C. 1950s/early 1960s woman\'s wicker and lucitehandbag purse. This was designed by Tropic of Miami Florida, which was the epicenter of the lucite bag craze--manufactured in Hong Kong. A fabulous form with great detailing, this features heavily coated glossy wicker construction with a decorative lucite detail in warm golden coloration that matches the bar that runs along top and sides, and the handles as well. The bag opens and closes with ease and the clasp works. The interior retains labels, and the faux leather, though a little soiled, is well preserved and usable. One grommet is coming a little undone on the inside, the zipper functions.A really sensational new look, mid century purse as seen in detail photos here. Measures 10 1/2\" x 8\" x 3 1/2\", handle adds an additional 4 1/2\"

CONDITION: In very good condition, really displays without issues, there is some light scratching to the lucite and one or two spots where I can see a very small break in the wicker. I have tried to photo document and describe all details, please feel free to ask questions before offerding.
