J.C. Higgins Canvas tent from the 50\'s only sold at Sears!

Purchased last summer but did not end up using it, the box got wet in the garage the screening canvas needs to be cleaned from contact with the side of the box. Soap and water with a stiff brush will clean it right up!

Tent is COMPLETE with stakes and poles and instructions (instructions are not original). There is some small piece of extra canvas for future repairs.
NOT perfect at 60+ years old please do not expect a new tent, we set it up in the yard after purchasing it last summer with no issues. Zippers all work.

This is an umbrella tent with no central support (aka no poles to walk into!) all poles assemble with one in the center and the rest in the corners, cross supports keep things sturdy, the final pole is removed from the center and placed into the remaining corner. Additional poles hold up the ends of the awning. Feel free to zoom in on the instruction paper to get a better idea of how it is assembled. All poles (except the awning poles) are assembled on the inside of the tent.

Canvas tents only get better with age as long as they are cared for (don\'t let it dry out too much). They are breathable and waterproof.

This tent is very HEAVY! Tenting is in the large box while the poles are in a separate box. Stakes are in their own matching canvas bag.

Local pickup: the tent and stakes weigh around 80 lbs

No returns on this tent due to it\'s size and weight.
