This is an original press photo. Guns of the cruiser Helena are in the background of this picture showing President-Elect Eisenhower with some of the men he has chosen for his cabinet. Shown are (from left) Governor Douglas McKay of Oregon, to be secretary of interior; Herbert Brownell, attorney general; Charles E. Wilson, defense; Eisenhower; John Foster Dulles, state department, and George Humphrey, treasury. Brownell and Wilson accompanied Eisenhower to the far east. The others flew to Wake island and flew from there in helicopter in order to board the cruiser and participate in formal conferences. Dead. Photo measures 8.25 x 8.25inches. Photo is dated 12-08-1952.
