1953 Negro Work Of Presbyterian Church In Us-jacob's Ladder/black Americana For Sale
Up for sale is a 1953 copy of Jacob's Ladder by Alex R. Batchelor, Negro Work of the Presbyterian Church in the United States. This is a wonderful, insightful piece of Black Americana of the time. It is not as much a spiritual look, but a social look at Negro people in society, ie. interracial marriage, etc. The book is 158 pages, 8" x 5 1/2". There are some discolorations on a few pages with picture three being the worst example. Picture two and four are examples of the vast majority of pages.
